The Wastelands vehicles: Wastelands -01. These vehicles are specially built vehicles to run through the apocalyptic wastelands and deliver troops, personal and supplies to the outposts. They are built from junkyard scrap; vehicles found in explorations or abandoned vehicles dragged back to the Nation for parts.

This is a 1972 Plymouth Trail Duster. I like the way these SUVs look. From the first time I saw one of these I liked it. Factory 4-wheel drive and lifted, white lettered tires, off-road stance and capability. A friend bought one and eventually I owned one that was heavily modified, lifted higher, bigger tires. I really liked that truck, so I had to build one. This model is designed and rendered in Direct X. This model is a 1971 Dodge Challenger. I never owned one. There were few for sale, and I preferred the 1962 Chevy Impala I drove, or the Dusters I owned. I also owned several other muscle cars that I drove. I liked the Dodge Challenger but not enough to get one. I did like the white one in the movie Vanishing point. 1979 Toyota Town Ace – Dell Sweet
This model is a 1979 Toyota Town Ace. As you can see from the video I didn’t follow the plan exactly. I am trained in CAD CAM and Architectural drawing; I just like to do free form when it comes to modeling so that I am not just building the same thing everybody else is. Of course, with this model I could have built it straight and you would most likely be hard pressed to find it anywhere. But I changed the square lights for round, I added a lift kit and a full Toyota truck frame and 4 wheel drive as well as wide tires.

I added the Town Ace model to Rad Sandbox and took it for a ride on two different landscapes: Toyota Town Ace Another utility truck I decided to build I took some liberties with this 1979 Town Ace too. I cut the wheel wells much larger and added a frame from a Toyota 4X4 truck as well as larger tires. It was designed in Open FX Modeler. It has renders in Direct X, fbx, OBJ, and 3DS. This is a Chrysler Corp. PT Cruiser. I thought the look of this car and the HHR from GM were kind of cool, a throw back to when Car styling meant something, at least to me. Of course it is different for everyone. Kids that grew up in the 1940s customized 50s cars, kids in the 50s sixties cars, and I’m sure the 90s kids had their cars too. I remember my kids liking Japanese cars and other street racing cars. This model is designed and rendered in Direct X. This is the classic 1958 Chevy Belair. American Graffiti featured this car prominently. That was the first time I ever thought about it all. I had skipped over it. I liked the 57 with the fins, and the 60 with fins again, but I did not appreciate the beauty of the 58 with the sideways fins until I watched the movie a few times and the movie and the car grew on me. This model is a 50s model Checker Cab. This body style stayed relatively the same up through the seventies that I know of. I drove cab then and purchased two Chevy Impala’s and a Chevy Malibu to use as taxis. I could have purchased an older Checker but the price was out of sight to me, 8 grand at the time was a lot of money just to have the Checker body style.
