This model is a 1971 Dodge Challenger. I never owned one. There were few for sale, and I preferred the 1962 Chevy Impala I drove, or the Dusters I owned. I also owned several other muscle cars that I drove. I liked the Dodge Challenger but not enough to get one. I did like the white one in the movie Vanishing point. This model is designed and rendered in Direct X. I included renders in Obj, 3DS and FBX as well as Direct X. The ZIP file also includes the maps and graphics as shown in the images below.
This model is a 1979 Toyota Town Ace. As you can see from the video I didn’t follow the plan exactly. I am trained in CAD CAM and Architectural drawing; I just like to do free form when it comes to modeling so that I am not just building the same thing everybody else is. Of course, with this model I could have built it straight and you would most likely be hard pressed to find it anywhere. But I changed the square lights for round, I added a lift kit and a full Toyota truck frame and 4 wheel drive as well as wide tires. • 1979 Toyota Town Ace
This model is a 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. I owned one, a regular Camaro that is. Same car, Red, but since I owned my own body shop I painted it the same red as my 1972 Ford Gran Torino, a sort of Red/Orange color I liked. Unlike the Torino, the Camaro was not a muscle car. It had a six cylinder and I had intended upgrades but I got into MOPAR about that time, wrecked the Torino and let the Camaro sit until I sold it off… This model is designed and rendered in Direct X. I included renders in Obj, 3DS and FBX as well as Direct X. The ZIP file also includes the maps and graphics as shown in the images below. #Camaro #CamaroZ28 #Chevy #Chevrolet #3DModel #dellsweet
This is a 1962 Ford Econoline Pickup. This is an awesome truck that I was able to work on with my dad back in the early seventies when he owned one. This one is lifted. This is built in Direct X and includes FBX and OBJ files along with the graphics and the image maps used. This is lo-poly and is game ready. The tires and rims are always rendered separately on my models so that they are easy to remove and use the model with a premade game chassis such as RAD Sandbox and other 3D game makers provide.
This is a track I use for testing my cars. It is in several game examples I have built over the years. It is designed in the OFX modeler and built in 3DS, converted to Direct x and added to the Rad Sandbox gaming system to use to build games. This building is in a ZIP file and includes the 3DS file, FBX, OBJ and Direct X versions. It also includes the Graphic/Map files. It is free to use as you like, personal or commercial.
I built this land to test models. In the version I use to test models you can see glimpses of a city in the background and an extra road that leads to it. In this version I stripped it down. It includes the track, with the same graphic/UV work but it does not include the city. I built a small, raised area around the track so that it is closed in. There is a video below that shows several different cars driven around the track. This model is designed and rendered in Direct X. I included renders in Obj, 3DS and FBX as well as Direct X. The ZIP file also includes the maps and graphics as shown in the images below. https://youtu.be/1UGjpWJqSBo #3DS #FBX #OBJ #DirectX #GameReady #LoPoly #dellsweet
For Billy Jingo, living in Glennville is a dead in life. His trailer home next to the county dump. His dead-end job. The boring life he lived. And then on Friday morning his whole world turned upside down. He suddenly found himself emerged in crime that was so far above his normal reasoning range that, at first, he couldn’t even comprehend the implications on it. In a heartbeat he found himself in a fight for his life. On the run with someone’s drugs and money and a girl he had not even known just a few hours before. Buckle up, enjoy the ride. This car was built with the Murdered-Out look in mind. The only bling I added was the gold and chrome in the rims, everything else is Black. Black chrome, black paint that is really a little off-black. I had fun building it… #3dmodels #3DPlymouthFury #1958Plymouth #carmodels #plymouth #fury #dellsweet #3ds #fbx #directx #obj

Bob’s Track builder is only available from Steam. Yes, you can find it on the net, but the email at thew site, the sign-up none of that works or is answered. I have tried, no dice, so I purchased the game through Steam. That said, it has some problems that Steam will not address for you. If you load it the first time and have more than one monitor like I do, it will load some windows on other screens. No idea why it does that, but it does, and it is fine as long as you never change that configuration. I did, as in I went from six monitors to four and it somehow lost those other windows and so I could not get those windows back. The program thought they were available on some other screen? Maybe, something like that. A programing error? Yes, but don’t try addressing it with the guy who wrote the program as he will never respond, either through his website or Steam.
Okay, that is the bad news. The good News?
The good news is he should be working on updates and improvements because this program, when it works, is awesome. It will allow you to build a track, land, and even add buildings, signs, etc., so that when you are done you have a complete layout ready to use. It looks and acts like it was made for building these tracks/layouts for other popular games, but as an afterthought the creator added a Direct X render of it as well. This gives you the entire set you just created in a series of Direct X files. You will have to figure them out and assemble it, so to speak in your favorite Direct X reading modeler, but once you spend an hour or so doing that you have everything you need.
In the video I will show you how I did that. I have no idea what it costs now or if you can get it anywhere as a stand-alone piece of software. I don’t think you can, as I said I have tried. But even though you have to run it from Steam it is a nice piece of software that does exactly what it says and creates beautiful appearing layouts that are game ready in the X format. Just remember NOT to change your monitor configuration after you have installed it, Dell…
