This model is a 50s model Checker Cab. This body style stayed relatively the same up through the seventies that I know of. I drove cab then and purchased two Chevy Impala’s and a Chevy Malibu to use as taxis. I could have purchased an older Checker but the price was out of sight to me, 8 grand at the time was a lot of money just to have the Checker body style.
